While I was at the killplant, there was a trucker that was yelling on the ph (to dispatch) aboot how all these trucks are coming in and leaving with loads, and he's sitting there and how he's gonna quit and and such then slams the ph down trying to break it, so I axe my travel agent if this guy is one of his drivers

Sure enough, I get there and they need an hour to figure things out ...hour later they decide theyll fly me back...umm, Ive got alot of shit, too much to fly...they said I can box it up and theyll ship it to Vcr, which is fine, except I dont live in Vcr, so theyll has to hold it until I drive back down there, which is agreed to, so I go off to U-haul to buy some boxes,
back from buyin boxes, sweet 4 vehicle accident blocking the intersection

Cafeteria in our Wpg terminal has sweet clubhouses...not flying me out til the next day, they has some city work for me in the am, which is fine...

and the mirrors with the rubber molding sticking out too far made it hard to squeegee clean

So, after teh $20 cab to Wpg airport, teh $400 flight to Vcr and $70 cab to teh yard to get my Jeep

So, I got into Vcr LATE at night...so drove across the street to get a hotel cuz Im not driving the 6hrs to teh house now cuz a) thatll make it a 24hr + day b) I wanna buy some stuff down here when the stores open...BUT, the hotel was full so, drove over to the other hotel I use, and it was full too....so said fuck it, I'll just sleep in the Jeep...that worked for 2hrs, woke up frozen , it was unseasonably cold that nite, so went inside the terminal and slept on the couch in the drivers lounge ...woke in the am, showered up, bought the stuff I wanted and headed off...Cop chased a speeder into the gas station

Woke up and off to assemble the new BBQ

so it wasnt as simple as a bus/wheelchair collision....

A handicapped man held up a Greyhound bus in 100 Mile House May 8 to protest against the company's refusal to transport his electric scooter on the bus.

James Norquay felt so frustrated he decided to take drastic action.

He arrived at the bus depot with a long heavy chain, a plastic gas container and a huge knife.

He attempted to hook the chain onto the front bumper of the bus and when that failed he went around to the driver side of the bus and shoved his front scooter wheel into the wheel well of the bus.

It couldn't move forward or backward without running over Norquay.

A Greyhound staff member was able to remove the gas container from the road while Norquay was moving around the side of the bus.

When RCMP arrived, Norquay showed them the large knife pointing at his stomach and said he was prepared to stab himself if they didn't stay back.

It took almost two hours of negotiating before RCMP convinced Norquay to put down the knife and took him into custody.

what the article fails to mention is that, he didnt reserve a seat, as that is the procedure, as they has to remove a seat to get the wheelchair in there, and it takes 30mins or so, and the driver is on a tight schedule, but if you call ahead, they can do it at a scheduled stop prior to getting to where the gimp is...so he threw a hissy fit...
