Last time I was enjoying the fall foilage in the backyard.





Made some weeny wraps and ran out of weenies, so filled a couple of them with jam...





Changing the dash lighting in the miata, left is the original bulb with green condom on it which gives the gauges the green glow, right is the new 220 degree RED LED replacement, cuz I want the gauges red for better night vision.





Gauges have a green film on the back of them, acetone takes it right off .

Finished...the red is actually darker/richer than the pic shows, its as red as the red brake light on the dash...looks way gay pink during lowlight times like sunrise/sunset, but at nite, rich dark red.





I put red LEDs in the mirror light as well .





Coming back from town, accident up ahead....there’s easily half dozen accidents here in the winter as the road ices up from the mist from the water treatment ponds...and the average driver cant make that connection, dunno what the deal is now, cuz it aint freezing temps.

Highway in town getting a new intersection, the frontage road getting worked on too...but this is royally fucked up...I have a stop sign, the opposing traffic has a yield sign, and the road to my left or his right is yield sign as well...why the fuck do the two have to yield to the stop sign??? No one will fucking move??





Next am, at the house to do the key handover to the agent and new homeowner, was too emotional for Betty to do, so I did it...End of an era, ~12yrs ago, when I moved here, John+Betty had the whole valley over every Sunday 9am til ~Noon for everybody to get together, drink coffee and eat baked goods that everybody brought. I dont drink coffee, so they always had a can of coke in the fridge for me . The broads would sit at the table, the menfolk in chairs away from them, there were 2 Lazyboy type chairs, and Ron always sat in his, and I was always in this one....

...he's a crazy dude, raises goats with his gf who is normal (what is with women?) and rails on aboot society and 'progress', had the last party line phone in BC, goes to those renaissance festivals for 2 wks a yr and does ancient battles dressed up as someone from back then , doesnt have electricity except for the generator he uses to edit his films that he went to film school for, including one aboot local school closure etc, yet my Youtubes have moar views ...type of person that knows 1% of an issue and just buries himself spewing nonsense the other 99% of time, saying american beer has formaldohyde(sp) in it, but not canadian beer, and us dollar bill has had "in god we trust" on it for 200 yrs, etc...he got so worked up that I wasnt taking his bullshit as THE SPOKEN WORD that he walked out and came back and called me a psychopath, and I corrected him that I was a sociopath, but its ok, you're just a person that likes the sound of big words coming out of your mouth but dont care if you're even using the correct one, then he asked me so that the whole room would hear - "was i still killing and raping prostitutes?" didnt think he was srs, so answered that it would be silly to kill them first, I dont want them to just lay there when im inside them, he repeated the question and and I replied that if I said yes, my reign of terror would be over and I wouldnt be able to reach the high number and receive the glory for my achievement, then there was fire in his eyes, called me a fucking something(mumbled) and walked into the wall trying to leave the room, I was killing myself laughing, the four other men were giggling and saying I shouldnt have worked him up into such a lather, only 2 of the wives heard what was goin on and gave me the thumbs up for getting rid of him, lol...and then the ph calls came from people HE called trying to get support to have something happen to me as I am dangerous to the community , and he made sure to inform those he called that he was recording the calls and was goin to report me to the RCMP.....no cops have shown, dunno if neighbor talked him out of it or if cops told him to GTFO,

Went to the meadow next door to retrieve some horsahs for the neighbors. The people that own this live in Vancouver, only come up 3x a yr, will retire soon to live here fulltime, but in the meantime, allow others to graze horses, it keeps the fields under control for them, and its free food for the horsah owners .

It JUST hit the edge of the roof of the upper shed....only because the tree broke off pretty high up the trunk ...any lower, might have caved the roof in.

Willow grew thru my chair in less than 2 mos ....I keep it up near the upper shed, cuz there’s a meadow up there and I keep a book up there and while walking the doggah, I’ll stop up there, read and tan.

See, this strip gets faded....the spray paint made the whole headliner nice and black.

Finally got the soffit done on the garage...started in May, was able to drag it out to late Sept ...though there’s easily a month of that time where I didnt has supplies, lumber yard kept running out of soffit, I was just buying a box at a time, so I wouldnt have leftovers...I wanted the garage to be soffitted, so I could re-install the insulation inside, and now with the soffit, animals will quit goin into the ‘attic’ of the garage and knocking the insulation from the ceiling down....Im not ready to drywall it yet, gotta move some electrical around before that. But the soffit project was made to keep me close to the garage and listening to Ron + Fez in the morning.

Aside from all the plants dying off, this is the best time of year ...sunny clear skies, avg daily temps in the 60s, but then Sun has heat in it, and the bugs are gone.





Cut my foot, stepped on my jigsaw....





I was making a new garden cart for the wife, got it finished up....20” wheels I got from the dump, the small wheels make the bottom of it low to the ground for easy loading. Just made from 1 sheet of plywood, couple 2x4’s and couple feet of angle iron.





Bedlinered the interior, so it’ll last .





Though the 1st one I made ~15yrs ago lasted 13yrs without bedliner, before she set it on fire.





She shoveled ASHES from a FIREPILE into a WOODEN cart , then for some raisin, walked away and did something else...I heard a noise and looked over and found it in flames, I couldnt hose it off, as the power was out, trees fell on the lines the day previous, so walked the cart to the creek to put the fire out.





I made a replacement cart, re-using the wheels and angle iron, and this time made the cart bigger, thinking 99% of the time she carries light stuff, tall grasses, etc...so this way could haul moar at a time...it ended up being too wide to handle, so hence the new cart I just made....the handles are same height and width as the yellow one, but I made the sides higher, and extended the length for moar capacity, and that way used the full sheet of plywood.





I thought I had lost my shades, but noticed them in the back of the miata .





I closed the roof on them....but I was able to bend them back into shape .





Set up the game camera in the backyard...I was tired of the spec’d lantern 6v batteries dying after a couple days, so got a rechargeable 6v battery and a 6v solar panel ...the guys on the game camera forum, yes there is such a thing , say this is the best way to do it...





Its just a ~5yo 2.0MP game camera, but it does what I want it to do....the newer ones will send the pics via wifi.

Was watching TLC’s What Not To Wear ....I DVR every show then 99% of them dont watch when I see who theyre making over, I only watch the ones that has potential...This gurl Emily, is a PRIEST...she’s fucking cute .

Well it was time , called work to tell them I was ready to work, they asked me when, I said I could be there at midnite, ready to drive 0800, they said c'mon down...so loaded up the miata.





Ive got less stuff than last time out, 1 bag in the trunk, I tossed the spare tire, just rolling with a can of flat fix, 1 bag on the psgr seat and two drybags inside the black bags in case it rains on the trunk....its my goal to eliminate 1 moar bag.





Goin the longway to Vcr thru Whistler, its a fucking awesome drive, and I got a convertible and Im awesome .





Well, the drive just become less awesome, cop up ahead ....gotta bring the speed down.





...20 mins later, hits the brakes, hits the disco lights and u turns for the car that whizzed by him the other direction.








One lane alternating up ahead for paving, but was talking to the sexy flaggergurl, and there’s gonna be a delay, couple dumptrucks clipped each other....and then when we get goin, I gotta get around this truck hauling teh trl, he’s gonna slow down my twisties fun.





This asphalt truck hit another asphalt truck head on, the other truck is worse off and is getting towed out of the construction area.

Back to open road...this guy is HAULING ASS , actually faster than I wanna go, in the straights, but then slowing the fuck down on the corners , when I dont have to change my speed at all or just cutting the fuck out of them to keep his speed up.





I finally got around him .





1st Me N Ed’s in 5 mos ...I really should buy 2, one for now, one for tmmw, but Im trying to not be a glutton.





Get to the yard, and this is the truck they want me to move into ...its a quad truck...as in 4 axles...the lift axle makes it 4 axles, and allows for heavier loads in Washington State, this truck just goes Vcr to Wash and loads up shitloads of produce and brings it back...A) I dont want a dedicated run. B) I dont want THIS dedicated run (produce loads are notoriously late all the time C) truck dont has an APU, so no A/C or AC when parked...





I slept in it, and called in the am, telling them I wasnt driving the quad truck, they put me in a different truck and moved into it and waiting for an empty trl so I can go down to Washington to get a load of meat for Cgy...also told them that the APU on this truck wasnt working properly, so Ill do the run thru the states and to Wpg (main yard) where they can fix it or put me in a working truck, agreed on all counts.





14 days 6600 miles





Empty trl was sposed to be rdy 3pm but wasnt ready til after midnite , so off I go....good to see that nothing has improved.





At the border, 3 concert coaches crossing back into the states...was the Brad Paisley tour.











When I was using the bolt cutters to remove the bolt seal from the empty trl so it could be washed out prior to loading the meat, I didnt has the strength in my hands to operate the cutters, so laid the cutters across my chest and pulled them together into my chest, pinching my forearm in the process .

Got my directions to the smokehouse, and when I checked them on the map, they seemed weird, but that has happened often, as not every highway exit is set up the same, you would think you gotta take a right to get to where you’re goin, yet they tell you left, and you take the left and it works, but you still have a funny feeling aboot it...so I was told to take a left at the light, and I did, and as soon as I did, I knew it was wrong , she gave me the directions if I was coming FROM the south, not HEADING south...purple shows how far I had to go to be able to turn around.





Finally found an area to turn around.

Delivering pork to a giant smokehouse, the receiver said I was missing ppwrk, the security dude at the front gate forgot it in his photocopier, so he drove up to give it to the dock.





This truck doesnt has EZPass transponder, so had to go thru the booths, mine had a state patrol trooper standing and hiding behind the booth checking for seatbelts .





Picking up my load in Joliet...produce that this trucking company brings from Cali, swings it onto our trl, we take it into Canada.

Got 36hrs off in Vcr, so got a buncha stuff to do, priority is a new HU for the truck with AUX IN....grabbed a $100 HU with AUX IN and USB IN and brought the old HU to show what harness I needed to hook up new HU to EXISTING dash harness, so when I move out of this truck, just reconnect old HU to EXISTING dash harness, the BestBuy couldnt do it, but they thought Visions could do it, so went there, they couldnt do it either, they said Ralphs in Downtown Vcr might be able to, so off to Ralphs...they couldnt do it either but said Japan Electronics could, so off to there...and they could do it, but it would take aboot 4hrs as theyre really busy, so I say ok, and go run around killing time.
